Mission

Working together towards a healed and transformed Africa. The Association of Christian Religious Practitioners is a professional body aiming to organize itself according the relevant statutory requirements, with specific reference to SAQA and the QCTO, and develop the necessary cooperative networks with training institutions, churches and other ministry affiliates so that it could successfully apply with SAQA for recognition as a professional body for religious professionals, in the domain of the Christian faith. * To develop a formal occupational training dispensation for pastors and other ministry practitioners that will encompass qualifications on all levels, starting at the lowest, namely ABET and NQF Level 1, that will carry formally recognised credits and open up training paths to the highest levels. * To come to an agreement with tertiary educational institutions, such as major universities, about the recognition of prior learning and of credits gained via the occupational training programmes as envisaged above. * To facilitate the development of a joint ministry training vision and strategy for South, Southern and sub-Saharan Africa.
