Vision

Botshabelo’s vision has been refined and put solidly as a stake in the ground – our vision is to impact the lives of children that need it most. Be it through education or residential care, we want to set children up with the best start in life. Right now, our 3 projects are achieving this vision!

Activities

Adult Education - We partner with women, training them in Early Childhood Development, so that they can uplift the standard of education for the children in their impoverished communities.
Early Childhood Development - In our preschool, we educate children from disadvantaged families. In our training program, we educate teachers to deliver quality preschool in their own communities
Organisational Development/Capacity Building of Organisations - We partner with the principals of up to 20 backyard creches each year, training them in sustainable business practices with accountable monitoring/evaluation for short and long-term growth.
Children - In our 3 programmes, our heart is for children. In our Babies Home, we nurture orphaned and abandoned babies with safe, stimulating and loving care. In our preschool, we teach children from poor families the foundational skills needed for their primary school journey. In our teacher training programme, we expand our impact by teaching women in Early Childhood Devleopment to uplift the standard of education in their impoverished communities.
Health - In our Babies Home, we provide great residential care for orphaned and abandoned babies. Our heart is to restore them to wholeness, preparing them for a Forever Family.
Women - We partner with women who work in the backyard creches of underprivileged communities.
Entrepreneurship & SMMEs - We partner with women who run backyard creches in disadvantaged communities, uplifting their capacity and helping them structure a sustainable business plan for the future.
